KODA KODI | Ring Game

This is a light-hearted, playful ritual that brings joy and laughter into the wedding ceremony following the third and final circle around the fire. During the game a ring is dropped into a pot of milk or water. The bride and groom then compete to find the ring first, usually for three rounds. The person who finds it first is playfully considered to be the ‘decision-maker’ or the more dominant partner in the marriage.
